About Us

Captain Joshua Lewis lives on Chokoloskee Island where he actively participates in the conservation of his loved islands and swamps.

Captain Joshua is a 6th generation Chokoloskee native coming from a long history of commercial fisherman, also whose family pioneered the land reaching back to C.G. McKinney whose efforts established a post office in 1891.

Captain Joshua is a U.S. Coast Guard certified Master Captain and a University of Florida certified Florida Master Naturalist. CPR Trained, drug tested, and TWIC complaint with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
